There are two types of Discover Seoul Pass: a physical card and a mobile app. The pass is available for 48 hours, 72 hours, and 120 hours. It activates as soon as you scan the card or QR code at your first attraction.

Is it Worth Purchasing the Discover Seoul Pass?

Absolutely! If you visit just a few of the popular attractions, the pass pays for itself. Here’s a quick example:

  • Admission to all 4 Royal Palaces: Free (normally €7.00)
  • N Seoul Tower: Free (normally €14.05)
  • Lotte World Adventure Universal Pass: Free (normally €39.40)

Making the Most of Your Discover Seoul Pass

We bought the 2-day pass and it was perfect! Here’s how to maximize it:

  • Activate your pass around 10 AM and visit as many attractions as possible over the next two days (except the palaces).
  • On the third day, your pass will still be active until 10 AM. Visit a hanbok rental store (free with your pass) and gain free entrance to all palaces for that day, even though your pass has expired.
