Lisbon is one big postcard. You don’t even have to try, everywhere you look there’s something pretty. A viewpoint, tiles, colorful houses, it just keeps going. But then there are a few places that stand out a bit more. The ones that are just… perfect for a photo.
Lisbon Cathedral street (with tram)
You’ll probably walk by this one anyway.

Tram going past the cathedral, narrow street, a bit messy, but that’s what makes it so nice. You might need to wait a bit for the tram, but once it comes, you’ll know that this is the perfect photo spot. As you can see we only got a photo, but we have a video with a tram!
Miradouro da Graça
This one we liked more than expected.

It’s not as polished as some other viewpoints, a bit more local, people just sitting around, but the view is really good. you really get Lisbon at a palm facing a different side.
Tv. São Tomé Crossroad
This is one of those spots where you just stand there for a bit and wait for the tram.
When it passes through that little crossroad, it just looks pretty.

Miradouro de Santa Luzia
Yeah, this one is popular, but for a good reason.
Tiles, flowers, view over Alfama… it’s all there. It can get busy, but if you wait a bit or come at a better time, you’ll get a good shot.

Random alleys (the best photo spots)
Some of our favourite photos are from places like this.
Nothing famous, no crowds, just small streets, nice light, and you kind of stop without planning to.

This is where Lisbon is actually the prettiest. There is a local shop at the corner and you can just enjoy the everyday life pass by. Walk around the staircase and enjoy the art gallery!

Don’t overthink it.
Some of the best photos we took weren’t planned at all. Just walking around, seeing something, stopping for a second.
That’s kind of how Lisbon works. Until next time, be mesmerized 💜
