All You Can Eat Strawberries in Japan!

All You Can Eat Strawberries? Yes, Please! 🍓

If you find yourself in Kyoto, Osaka, or Nara anytime from winter to early summer, don’t miss this sweet experience.

Imagine this: rows and rows of bright red strawberries, all yours to pick and eat for 30 minutes. Thanks to high-rise cultivation, you can pick them while standing—no bending, no sore back. And because it’s all inside a plastic greenhouse, you’re good to go even if the weather isn’t.

Honestly, it’s just pure fun for everyone. We loved it!

How to Book This Experience

Ready to dive into this strawberry feast? There are a couple of options, you can book it directly on their website, the site is in Japanese, but Google Translate works like a charm. Book your timeslot online by picking your preferred date and time. With 18 different farms, you’ll receive an email with the specific farm you should visit.
But keep in mind that they don’t have online payment, so you’ll have to bring cash. We visited the farm in 2023, and the price was 2000JP¥.

You can find some other options that you can book online, some offer some other activities, and they usually include the entrance fee and handle all the planning, so you can just show up and enjoy. You can find them when in season on GetYourGuide or Klook.

What to Expect When You Get There?

When you arrive, just find the staff—they’re super friendly. If your tour didn’t already include payment, you’ll pay on the spot. They’ll hand you scissors to snip the strawberries and a little bag for the stems.

You’ll get your own section to pick from, so no bumping into strangers.

All You Can Eat Strawberries in Japan

Honestly, we thought “thirty minutes might not be enough,” but… by minute 18, we were full. Didn’t stop us from squeezing in a few more though. They were that good.

If you’re in the area, definitely carve out time for this. It’s simple, sweet, and way too much fun.

Until next time, be mesmerized! 🧡
